Engage: How do I copy a recording into my library

Note: If you are not the original owner of the recording before creating a copy obtain permission from the owner.

Find the recording you wish to copy within your library (you may need to search or filter)
You can copy the video from to places
From the media tile in your library click the ellipsis to open the menu (you will need to click More Actions) as shown in the figure below
Click Make a Copy

From the media details page, click Make a Copy shown in the below figure

The recording will now appear in your Echo360 Library with the same title and notation of (COPY) at the end for your use

Find the recording you wish to copy within the Echo360 course/module
Click on the media Icon (it now turns Pink) of the recording within the Echo360 module to open the menu
Click Create Copy, you will get a warning you are copying the recording but just click OK

The recording will now appear in your Echo360 Library with the same title and notation of (COPY) at the end for your use

Note: this dropdown menu does not work in Internet Explorer
